Another Shooting In America
A former warehouse employee who had lost his job at a warehouse
shot and wounded at least 10 people. The reason behind this act is implied that
he was depressed after been let go of his position. This is another mass
shooting of one man with a handgun that caused all the damage alone. “It’s a
shame that mass shootings have become a commonplace in our country,” said Mayor
Richard of Aurora. Can someone be that heartless and think he has a right to
take an innocent life? In our Constitution, the second amendment states that
everyone has the right to bear arms. Gun control is a big issue because it is a
highly debatable subject that makes you think if we in fact should have a right.
Mass shootings by individuals acting alone makes us wonder why they decided to
end someone else life because of their own problems. By giving anyone the right
to own a gun you are putting others’ lives in danger. This article contains
another story similar to the past other mass shootings that have happened in
the past. There is easy access by owning a gun, a motive behind the shootings,
and a person with problems that put them and others at risk. I believe that
there should be even more stricter gun controls set in place. Not everyone
deserves the right to own a gun.
